Workshop Booking Terms

Terms & Conditions

The workshop fee includes tuition, materials required for the day (excluding grout) and the use of tools during the workshop. Refreshments are provided on all workshops. Please bring a packed lunch on full-day worklshops.


Full payment is required upon booking.


We try to make our courses accessible to all however if you have any disabilities or physical limitations of any kind we ask that you discuss it with us before booking. 


COVID 19: If you have any symptoms relating to Covid19 or know that you have been in contact with someone who may have Covid19 please telephone or email us and do not come to the workshop.


We have taken measures to reduce the risk of spreading the virus. Class numbers have been reduced to 4 participants to enable social distancing. Lunch will not be served. Please bring a packed lunch that you can eat at your workbench or outside – weather permitting. Each participant will be provided with a selection of teas/coffee and biscuits within your work area.


Please sanitise your hands before entering the studio using the touch-free sanitiser outside the studio
Please sanitise your hands throughout the day each time you leave and re-enter the studio. Sanitizer and anti-viral spray are provided for you with your individual work area.
A hand towel is provided for each participant to use after washing hands throughout the day. Please remember to take your towel with you when you visit the toilet and bring it back with you.
Workbenches have been fitted with screens to separate participants. Each participant has their own tools and materials and you will not need to leave your work area to access them.
You are not required to wear a mask whilst sitting at your work area but please wear a mask if you leave your work area, eg. to use the grinder, the kettle or visit the toilet. Gloves are provided if you wish to wear them.
Demonstrations will be shown on a large screen using a close-up camera.


Cancellations made 4 weeks in advance we offer a 50% refund. If we receive less than 4 weeks’ notice we are unable to offer a refund. Where possible we will offer a date change. Cancellations made 48 hours or less before the workshop may not be able to be rescheduled. No-shows and cancellations on the day cannot be rescheduled or refunded.  If a date change has been requested we cannot refund or reschedule a subsequent cancellation. All cancellations are also subject to a 10% admin fee.


Should we receive an insufficient number of bookings for any workshop, we reserve the right to cancel, offering you a full refund or the option to transfer to another date.


Workshops are not suitable for children under the age of 14. Anyone age 14 to 16 must be accompanied by an adult who is also taking part in the workshop. The studio is not able to accommodate anyone not taking part in the workshop.


For safety reasons you are required to wear flat, closed-toe shoes in the studio at all times. For your own safety we recommend that you wear full-length trousers/skirt and long sleeves for glass fusing and stained glass workshops. You will be provided with safety glasses, which must be worn at all times in the studio when anybody is cutting glass or tiles.


Students must comply with any requests made to ensure their safety and that of others using the house and studio.


We cannot accept liability for any loss or damage to personal possessions during your visit.


Vehicles and their contents parked at or near the studio are at your own risk.


Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the house, studio or garden.


The advertised prices are for 2020 workshops and subject to change in subsequent years.




Gift Vouchers are valid for one year from date of purchase.


Gift Vouchers purchased during December will be vaild until 31st December the following year.
